problem with saveimagetodisk and equalize2

I am using the saveimagetodisk method to save a 8-bit .bmp image.  The save works well (aka the image can be viewed in default windows picture viewer and Vision Assistant) when the unaltered image is saved.  However, when I use the equalize2 method on my image and try to save it to disk with saveimagetodisk, the result is horizontal, slightly diagonal white and grey stripes.  Im not sure what is going on, ive tried saving in other file formats with no change.  thanks for the  help.

I have noticed that when the file is saved as a bmp the size is 1312x1026 pixels, and the .tif filesize is 1288x1026 pixels.  Maybe this helps.  thanks.

Hi Josh,

What program are you doing this in?  I just tried saving the images in LabVIEW but I didn't see the same behavior.  Can you post your images so I can see what the difference is between when you use the equalize function and not.  Also after you use the equalize function if you display your image does it look correct?  Also what are you using for the Histogram report on the equalize function?
