Hello yashpal,

Could you provide more details on your issue:
- What framegrabber card are you using?
- Do you have NI Vision Development Module?
- What camera are you using?
- What is the problem that you are facing?

Any further details would be appreciated as well. Also, for a specific issue, please create only one forum post. This would help us address your issue much more clearly.

Thank you,

Hi Vivek,

I don't know how so many posts very sent. regrets.

I am using Prosilica EC 1020 Cameras along with Comapct Vision System(CVS) to capture images. My objective is inspection of various objects of different sizes. Because of variable size of objects I have to adjust zoom level of lens time to time. I am using the Pattern matching function for setting coordinate system.Suppose I have inspected a batch of objects of type A. Then I do inspection for type B by changing the optical settings. Now If I have to again inspect object of Type A. I will change the lens settings. What happens here is pattern matching fails. the reason probabaly is because the template which i saved with earliwer settings do not match with the current images of the objects because the zoom level has changed. Since there is no pattern matching the coordiante system setup also  Is there any solution to this.

Hi!

It seems as if the changes in zoom are causing a scaling issue in your patterns. With other words, you trained template images are either smaller or larger than the actual patterns or objects you are trying to detect.

You may want to check out the "geometric pattern match" VI, since it allows you to specify a scaling factor or range. This will look for patterns of the same shape but allow for different sizes to be found.

Best,
