pattern matching pixel calibration

i'm using LabVIEW 6.1 and Vision Builder 6.
i find there is no difference between the search results (coordiantes) of an object before and after i applied the simple calibration to re-define the origin of coordinate and the pixel values.
i don't understand, please advise. Thank
