motion detection in labview through any usb webcam

hello,

         Im really new to this programming software and i've been given the task of first acquiring image through any usb webcam and then achieving my goal of performing motion detection through labview. I have Labview ver 8.5 and dont even know where to begin my task. I really need someone to give me a step by step instructions as how i would be able to achieve my task and would really appreciate if some one would tell me the code , or atleast an example code of how to achieve motion detection through labview.
