Could you please be a little bit more specific about what you are trying to do? Are you trying to draw the ROI yourself, or programmatically? Also, the speed of acquisition is going to depend on your camera itself, and you will use the IMAQdx driver to communicate with it. What model camera are you going to use?
In terms of processing time, this is something you have to program and test yourself. 10fps for acquisition isn't all that fast, and I would think that you could do this, but am unsure if your processing steps would take longer than that or not.
Finally--what all did you want to do--Acquire, Draw the ROI, Measure distances...?
