Did you mean:

imaqWriteFile

I tried to use this function as such "imaqWriteFile(image,
"image.jpeg", NULL)" but the project did not compile and there was
highlight on imaqWriteFile. Is there something about the syntax that's
wrong?

I have tried to look for examples for this function (for CVI) on the
NI site but to no avail. I am looking for a way to save my processed
images using imaq vision. What I found is through imaq acquisition
card directly which is not what I am looking for. I have also found
examples of imaqWrite but for LabView only. Can you help?

You should be able to use imaqWriteFile(const Image* image, const char* fileName, const RGBValue* colorTable. You can also use imaqWriteJPEGFile, imaqWritePNGFile, imaqWriteTIFFFile, or imaqWriteVisionFile to save a Imaq iamge to file.

Hello,

It looks like you have the right idea for the imaqWriteFile call, but it looks like you're missing a comma - try using the following line instead:

imaqWriteFile(image, "image1.bmp", NULL);

If this is not the problem, please reply and we can try some other ideas.

Thanks!
