imaq read custom data after saving image

Hello!

I'm using imaq write custom data to attach some info into images. Until here, everything is ok. The problem is when I save those images and try to open them and use the imaq read custom data to get the saved info, it appears that the images lost the saved info.

Any help on this?

I forgot to say that I'm saving the images as .jpeg files, without compression.

Unfortunately, JPEGs don't support the addition of custom data.  In order to read and write custom data, you'll need to use the .PNG file format.  In addition, you must use the "IMAQ Read Image And Vision Info" and "IMAQ Write Image And Vision Info" VIs - the other VIs do not save custom data.
