Hello,

Has anyone done any work to automatically decode a date wheel? I would like to determine the date that the code is showing, using software. I have a sample image attached. The contrast is abysmal and the image is only 640 by 480. Is it even possible with such an image?

Hi slipstick,

If your wheel codes will always have the numbers in the same orientation you could try to do a pattern match on the just the arrow and determine what number they correlate to base on the angle of the pattern match.
