I have extracted the edges of a cuboid, and the edge lines are black. I hope to use a convolute nucleus(3*3) to find out the corner points. each element value of the nucleus is 1.
My idea is that because each corner point is the point intersection of at least two edge lines, there are more than three black points in the 3*3 of the point; while for other point, there only there black points in the 3*3, vertical,horizontal or diagonal. So we can use the pixel value after convolution to judge whether a point is a corner point. If the value is less than 255/3, the point is corner point.
It's just my idea, and I am not sure its validity. I look forwards to your opinions.
If it's ok, I want to know how can I konw the coordinate of the corner points? Does IMAQ Vision have the function to find out the coordinate of a point having a certain value?
