copying buffer from device memory to system memory

I am using PCI 1428 and PCI 6711 and RTSI. I am acquiring the images to onboard memory. How to copy them and save to the system memory. The number of images are 15. I wonder how to save them to the disk for further processing. I am using imgSessionCopyBuffer and imgSessionSaveBufferEx() functions to save them as bmp file. But the images which are saving are not clear and something else?

Hi,

Could you elaborate a little more on the problem that you are having? Which camera are you you using, what are you trying to do and what behavior are you seeing?

Kind Regards

The problem is ..
i need a VI which can grab from camera and save the image files to the system.
Say if a grab for one minute, 600 images (in BMP) has to be saved!

Camera used: UNIQ 1000CL
Frame rate aquired: 600 fps
I have confirmed that the camera is workign properly by using "Measurement & Automation" explorer.

I dont have imaq vision installed!

The "Acquire_sequence_and_save_with_NI-IMAQ.vi" file given in the ni.com is not working, as in its saving blank BMP format which couldnt be opened...
plz help me ...

Hi,

Firstly, which frame grabber board are you using? Have you downloaded the icd camera file from:
http://ni-vision.co.uk/digital.html

The problem may be to do with that the camera is returning 10-bit images and the imaq create is set to 8-bit.
