cameras framerate

Hi!

I like to evaluate ccd-cameras framerates. It seems that labview vision tools always takes optimal FPS to certain resolution and camera mode. So how I can test cameras FPS and datarate with my own resolutions specs?

In general, the maximum frame-rate in given by the camera manufactuer in the datasheet.
I know for sure that Basler give an equation to calculate framerate depending on the image size (partial scan) and I guess many other do the same.

What camera do you want to test ? maybe we can help you by finding the information in the datasheets.

To continue..

My goal is test cameras parameters and compare result to cameras datasheets. For example test: Is mode 15 fps really 15 fps OR on mode7 how pictures size changes framerate.

I'm curious, does imaq examples count framerate right? because you can get framerate out also reading cameras register...Which one is right method or is there another solution for that?

I like to know also that how can I calculate dataflow during grabbing?
