Hi,
I currently have vision assistant 8.5.0 and Labview 8.5.1. After I have created a script in Vision Assistant and try to export it as a Labview VI, all I get is the getting started window of Labview. When I navigate to the folder that I selected for the VI, it is not there. In the vision assistant, I selected the folder to put the VI then said use the current script. I have noticed that there have been problems with this function on other versions of Labview but I can't seem to find any posts related to my specific versions.
Thanks All

avtr,
Does your script work in Vision Assistant? Are you able to use other vision functions in LabVIEW? Have you tried exporting to a VI with LabVIEW already running / Without it running? Do you get any errors or other messages when you try this?

Hi,
No. I don't get any errors in the script and I have tried making the VI both with and without labview running. No combination seems to make a difference. It is very odd.
Thanks,
Tei

Avtr,
Are you able to use the vision assistant in LabVIEW by dropping the vision assistant express VI on your block diagram?

Make sure that the Active X protocol is enabled in LabVIEW (Tools>>Options VI Server).
