VBAI insert result problem

I am using VBAI 2015. I can send command <Hex 4005 0100 1A00 2A8A> through Seial IO to my light controller successfully. However, I tried to use ''Insert Result'' to insert  the the same command ouptut from the ''Calculator'' (I simply copy the command as string to an ouput), it did not work.

Why is that? Can anyone helps?

The string in the Calculator isn't using HEX format by default, so if you use "4005" it sends the ascii equivalent of "4", "5", "0", "0" which is "3435 3030". Right click on the string and choose "Hex Display" to view and set the HEX values for the string you want to send.

The srting is ''<Hex 4005 0100 1A00 2A8A>''. I copied this to Serial IO and it worked but it did not worked through the result of Calculator.

Try unzipping the attached inspection. You can import it into your existing inspection by right clicking in the state diagram and selecting Import Inspection.
