Using multiple Firewire session_id's

I have an application in which I am using multiple firewire cameras.

Do I need to Open and Close the cameras before/after each acquisition, or can I open all session_id's, and keep them open continually?

Hi Steverino,

You can acquire from multiple firewire cameras at the same time.  If you wish to open and close each camera, this should work, but is by no means required.

It is not necessary open close for each acquisition. You can open it once, use start & stop acquisition as many times you need. while exiting, close the aquisition.
