Using a PCI-1409 to acquire a sequence but an error occurs in IMAQ start?

My vi is basically the same as "Acquire_sequence_and_save_with_NI-IMAQ" available from the website but in both my program and that one error -1074397153 occurs and the lowest level vi I have tracked the occurence of this error down to is imgSessionAquire.vi. How can I get rid of this error as I can't see what I've done wrong? According to MAx the card is fine - I ran the diagnositic bit and no errors came up. I'm totally mystified.

The most common cause for the error "IMG_ERR_VLCK -- can't lock on video source" (error -1074397153), is that your camera is not properly connected to your board or your camera is not powered on. A defective power supply and/or cable is often the culprit, so that would be the first place I would check.

For more help in troubleshooting this error, please see the Knowledge Base, "What Are the Reasons for the Error Message "Can't Lock on Video Source"?" at http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/F5CD44FEE5BF3841862565A3007AAE64?OpenDocument, as well as the Knowledge Base "My Color Composite Camera Causes the Error "Can't lock on Video Source" at http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/9cfae22b35ea542786256533007dd384?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,12GGr5q4.

Ahhh - that's great thank you. It hadn't told me anything with the error about can't lock on to video source. All it said was "error occurred in" and then whatever vi. That could well be the culprit.

Thanks again!

I've tried all the suggestions on those 2 pages but, using MAX it's still saying can't lock. The image appears fine on a standard monitor though. I don't think it's a non-standard number of lines... It's a Panasonic/Matsushita camera (MN39216AT) CCIR analog 512x581 pixels so gives a resolution of 360x420 TV lines. Any more clues as to why it can't lock then?

Thanks!
