Smart Camera NI 1722 and CVI

Hi,

we are using the NI 1722 camera, CVI 2012 SP1 and Windows XP/7 for an application.

The CVI program communicates with the smart camera via shared variables. Everything after a startup of the camera there is no connection possible to the camers. After a reboot the camera can be easily connected.

How can we avoid that we have to reboot the camera. We realizes two applications and for both the problem is the same.

does anyone know this problem?

Hi,

could you tell exactly what you are doing, step by step? Then i can try to help you. At the moment i do not understand when this occurs and how this has to do sth with the shared variable engine.
