Hi Prakash,

Are you using multiple Scout Cameras? However, follow this link for a detailed explanation on acquiring images from the Scout camera.

Please confirm if the link helps or not, and whether you still get the green lines.

Hi

I am using a single Scout Camera for this application. And using mother-borard network port foR Camera and D-link network card auto email option for LAN connectivity. Still green line problem in image is there.

Please suggest.

Hi Prakash Mahar,

Did you try changing the pixel format? Also did you see the link(mentioned above) which has details about acquiring images using GigE vision cameras? I am sharing the links again. Please read the steps listed there carefully if you haven't already done that.

Part 1

Part 2

Please revert if you have any further queries.

I have had this issue before (green lines, acquiring from multiple cameras) and it was fixed by changing the pixel format. Does anyone know why this would help? I assume there is some kind of data loss either on the camera end or on the computer, I was just wondering how the pixel format effects this.

Thanks,

Luke

The green line is an effect of packet loss on a bayer-encoded image (the "lost" pixels are filled in as black and the bayer decoding makes this show up as green). If you change the PixelFormat from say 12-bit to 8-bit you but the data rate and thus might be causing the data loss to go away.
