Remotely viewing video

Hi,

I have a VI that uses the image control to display video acquired through a camera. It seems to work fine when I run the VI on the host. But when I try to run this remotely (through a web browser), the image control does not seem to work. The VI is actually running and there is no error message, but the image control does not display the video. I appreciate any help you can provide.

To view images in the image display control in a web browser you need to have NI-IMAQ 2.6 or higher installed on the target machine. The image display control will show up without NI-IMAQ installed, but images can only be displayed if NI-IMAQ 2.6 or later is installed.

To download the latest NI-IMAQ driver, please refer to the following page: NI-IMAQ: Current Driver Version

Dawna,

Thanks for your reply. I was able to get it to work after I downloaded and installed the IMAQ hardware drivers. I have one more question though. The file to be downloaded is very large. Is there a way to get around this? The problem I have is that there are a lot of people who are going to use this VI remotely and it may be difficult to download such a large file for some of them. Thanks for your time.
