I am looking for implementation of the Radon Transformation with Labview / IMAQ.

Hi Gabi,

I do not know of any implementations of the Radon Transform using LabVIEW and IMAQ however, the Hough transform (the discrete version of the Radon Transform) has been implemented and can be found on the Siva website.  You'll have to ask their permission to download and access the files.

Also, there are a number of  edge dectction algorithms built in to the Vision Development module including Edge, Rake and Concentric functions if you are not set on using the Radon Transform.

Hi

Thanks for your response.

I didn't define right what I am looking for.

I am looking for the Reverse Radon Transform (=Back projection). I have a series of 2D images that where made by projecting a semi transparent object all around, out of these images I have to reconstruct the 3D object (- like CT application). Do you know someone that made this with Labview?

Best Regards

Gabi

Hi Gabi,

I haven't been able to find anything like that on the National Instruments site.  If there is an implementation of the reverse radon transform in LabVIEW available, you will have to find it by using your favorite internet search engine.
