Hi there,
I'm using two separate PC's with Vision Builder AI installed.
On one PC I'm using a Visual Basic script to run local inspections by using the ActiveX-Objects. The comand line for this is -- NIVBAIInspecEngine.ConnectToTarget2("127.0.0.1", vbaiFullControl, vbaiLatestAvailableVersion) --. Running a local inspection works fine.
When I'm trying to write instead of the local IP-adress the IP-adress of the second PC to run an inspection. I'm receiving an error and I can't get an connection.
I tried to start the TCP/IP server on the non-local PC, but this isn't giving me any solution.
Could you help me please to solve this issue?!

Hi Cokfat,
could you tell me more about the error message that you are getting (screenshot)? Could you make sure that the network connection to the other PC was established (send a ping)?
My first idea to do this would be to start VBAI per DOS command. In VBAI on the remote PC you can go to options and set your inspection as startup. This way your inspection will automatically start when you open VBAI per DOS command.
Best regards,
David

Hi David,
I attached the error-message which I get, when I'm trying to connect to a PC over LAN.
I already stopped all Firewalls and Virus-Scanner.
Please, help me.
Thanks!
