OCR calibration

Hi all, I am using vision 7.1, I need to calibrate LCD display for OCR read. how would I calibrate and how to write necessary charecter file. Please give what are the fuctions(VIs) used for writing a charecter file and its input parameters. Regards Devender

Hello Devender,

Vision Development Module 8.5 contains a shipping example entitled LCD Example.vi that uses IMAQ Get LCD ROI and IMAQ Read LCD to read values that are displayed on a LCD panel.  You may want to check your version of NI Vision to see if you have the same example or the same VIs.  This example would probably be the best place to start.
