NI Vision Builder 2012 SP1 Losing Camera Configuration

Hello Everyone,

In the past few months we have upgraded and are working towards standardizing the software we use to Vision Builder (previously we have DVT, Keyence, Older Vision Builder).

Anyways just this past week when we launched Vision Builder by double clicking on a saved part template the software had lost its camera configuration and they had to be re added to VB.... Ok So slightly frustrating but now just last night we had another machine start doing this and the original machine with the issue did it again.

Basler Gigabit Cameras, Adlink Matrix MXC-6000 Industrial PC

They are shut down at night time and this occured at intial startup of the machine in the morning. the PC is not joined to our domain but is connected to my companies network. The Cameras are on a seperate switch inside the machine.

What am I overlooking? Is it some sort of corrupt user profile??

Is this the first time you've run Vision Builder or has it worked in the past? Does it lose the configuration every time?

I have worked with VB 2011 in the past and we have had this machine running 2012 since May of this year, the other machine that just had the issue we purchased in July and until this past 1-2 weeks we had no issues with it losing the camera configuration.

I work IT for the company so naturally I go back to what is different but I cant figure out what would of changed to cause this issue.

Its not repeatable either, since we had the issue on monday morning and got it fixed the rest of the week they have been fine on startup.
