Hello,
I'm looking for NI cards that meet the following spec:
-Clock rate 62.5 Mega Hz(I might be using 62.5 MHZ in the future so I would like a card that support this clock cycle)
-15 bits parallel digital data per clock(12 bits is the pixel data and 3 bits is the control data (line valid, frame valid, and data enable) -I would like to capture the 15bits data using national instrument card and construct the video.
-I would like to use labview to send a video from the harddrive and convert it to parallel digital data (15 bits, 12 bits for pixel data and 3 bits for controls line); so I need a hardware that sends the parallel data.
So the main thing is what is the hardware needed to capture videos and send videos and what is the software needed (cheapest possible solution since I have limited budget)
Note: I'm not sure if I need to look for data rate. Is the data rate used only if data is sent serially? Since I'm sending and receiving the data using parallel digital method, do I need to take data rate in consideration?
Thank you very much.

Hey LabVIEWSeeker,
The two cards we have to do Parallel Digital acquisition are the PCI 1422 and 1424.
As far as software goes, you will be using the Vision Acquisition Software, and possibly the Vision Development Module, depends on your eventual application.
Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
