I'm acquire data in a high frame rate (128*128*8bit*12000FPS), and FlexRIO 7976 have only 2GByte DRAM, I will save about 10 seconds of video in DRAM, but I want save longer data, and I can accept a little bit video quality loss.
Is there any way I can extent the time for video record?
One thing i know is if I fetch this 2Gbyte data from FlexRIO, and save it using VP9 using LabVIEW vision AVI function, I get a file of 20~30Mbyte, which is really impressive...
I'm not look for such dynamic effect in FPGA side, but let say 2 times or 4 times of extent will be really nice improvement for me, of course higher compressive rate is welcome:)
