Installation of Vision 8.2 on a PC with Labview 7.1 and Labview 8.2

Hello,

I'm trying to install the vision 8.2 CD on my Pc.

On this computer, I have different version of Labview 7.1, 8.2 and 8.5.1.

I would like to run with vision 8.2 because of licence I have and because my appplication has to run on a Labview 8.2 platform.

During the installation process, I checked the Labview 7.1 support AND Labview 8.2 support. (8.5 is not available, question of compatibility)

When the installation is finished, I can find Vision tools in my Labview 7.1 but not in Labview 8.2. And vision is of course not available in Labview 8.5 (I know that it is not compatible)

In my Explorer, I find :

c:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\ ... : OCr, ...

c:\Program Files\National Instruments\Labview 7.1\vi.lib\Vision : all the libs file

But I find nothing in the c:\Program Files\National Instruments\Labview 8.2 directory

Someone could help me to install it correctly for Labview 8.2?

I know that you work with a different version of vision and that your installer doesn't crash, but it's worth to try the workaround solution like they say it in the link above.

Can you reply if it is a solution for your problem?
