I am looking for relatively inexpensive monochrome sensor cameras to use for laser beam profiling. I need at least 6x5 mm active sensor size which seems to equate to at least 1/2 inch format. 8x6 mm sensor (which may be 1 /1.8 format) would be even better. Open access to the sensor itself is needed (no lens or a removable lens). USB with DirectShow driver desired but well support LabVIEW/DLL driver may be acceptable. Ability to acquire from at least two cameras at the same time, simultaneous synchronized triggered not necessary, just alternating between multiple cameras is ok. Frame rate not important (few frames/sec is ok), pixel count not critical, 8 bits is ok.
