Hi Dave,
I am unsure why you wish to revert back to NI-IMAQ V2.6. CVI should work fine with IMAQ 2.6, 3.0, 3.1.3, etc. Since the new drivers contain the latest updates and bug fixes, I would strongly encourage upgrading drivers rather than reverting back. If there is a strong reason for reverting to IMAQ 2.6, I would be glad to help, but I think you would be better off using NI-IMAQ 3.0 or later. Could you please let me know more about why you would like to revert back to IMAQ 2.6?
Thanks,

I have been using NI-IMAQ V3 on the subject PC for months. ( Probably not with CVI executables though ) I wanted to debug applications written in LabWindows CVI on that PC. I installed an NI-1428 board in it. It operated. I transferred CVI V 5.5 from one PC to the WinXP machine. the ide would always produce link errors to all the imgFunctions. I tried adding "user libraries " [ niimaq.fp, .lib, .sub ] to the ide. and removing the standard niimaq library without sucess. Now uninstalling IMAQ V3 and installing V2.6, lets the ide create executables, no link errors. But with the ImaqBoot problem, they can not run.

The problem has been resolved. Uninstalling NIIMAQ V2.6, then installing v 3.0, no longer
produces the error. The NI IMAQ library with Bayer decoding appears in the CVI NI IMAQ library.
Both boards NI-1411, and NI-1428 are working. Lastly, executable programs from CVI operate.
Thank You for the advice
