Image Size in Memory

Hi All,

I would like to find out what the size of an image is in memory. This
should include any of the extra information assossicated with the image
(pattern match info, overlays, calibration info)

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

Hello Denis,
IMAQ GetImageSize.VI Gives information regarding the size (resolution) of the image.Also, IMAQ Is Vision Info Present.VI checks for the presence of extra vision information that is associated with the image. The extra vision information can include overlay information, pattern matching template information, and calibration information.
Read Memory Management with IMAQ to get a general explanation of image memory allocation using IMAQ VIs.
If you are using any other programming language there are similar IMAQ functions.
