IMAQ Set Camera Attribute? Serious problems!

Hello,

I'm trying to control JAI CV-A10 CL camera using IMAQ Set Camera Attribute.vi with cameralink PCI-1426.

I can snap the picture and I have been able to change the "Shutter speed" (when "Shutter Mode" is "Normal") and changes can be seen in the image snapped.

But when I'm trying to change the "Gain Level" nothing happends while Labview is running continously. I've also tried to use the "Programmable Exposure" (when "Shutter Mode" is "Programmable Exposure") with correct attributes (0-625). Programmable Exposure doesn't work either.

There is no difference between the new and the previous image. I have checked the settings by using IMAQ Get Camera Attribute.vi and the attributes were updated. I have used the attributes presented in the Camera/Info .icd file.

Attributes, which contains integers seems to be the biggest problem.

What should I do? I also attached .vi files in SetCamAttributes.zip:

In HL SnapKV mikko3.vi you can set the Programmable Exposure in integers (0 - 625).

In HL SnapKV mikko2.vi you can set the Gain Level in desibels ( -3 - 12)dB.

In HL SnapKV mikko.vi you can set the Gain Level in string (-50 - 150).

Hello Mikko.

I don't have a CL camera and cannot verify your code or find out that it works as you described. But I am quite confused about your wire branches in the IMAQ Session. Could you please "daisy chain" the IMAQ Session and run your VI again? (At that time you can remove the Flat Sequence Structure, too.)

If your VI then continues to "bad-behave" it should be easier to see.
