IMAQ BCG Lookup

It seems that there is an IMAQ function which takes - brightness, contrast and gamma values as an "input".

I am looking for an IMAQ function that analyses an image and calculates these values for that image - i.e. BCG values = output

Does this exist??

Hi sammy346,

Because Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma are relative values, there aren't any IMAQ VIs that return these as outputs.

If you are looking for a function that analyzes pixel data in an image and returns statistical data which you could compare between different images, then you may want to consider using the IMAQ Histrogram VI or the IMAQ Color Histogram VI.  Each of these returns mean pixel value and standard deviation information.
