I/O on IMAQ using NI-1405 board

Dear all,

I am using an PCI-1405 frame grabber board and want to use its trigger line for ouputing a digital signal to control an external instrument. While its simple to use the trigger as an input (for image aquisition) I could not find how to configure it for output.

I am very grateful for somebody pointing me to an example, or to the correct help file. (My intention is to use Matlab as programming envirnment, but I could also do it in C/C++.)

Hello Uli,

you can find a lv example in the folder: C:\Programme\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\examples\IMAQ\IMAQ Signal IO.llb  the example "LL Trigger Drive.vi"
The function you need is called trigger drive.
You can find more information in the reference help (please look at the attachement).
If you install the Vision Acquisition software choose support for C/C++.
To get the same example in a text programing language.
