Dear all,
I am new to LabView. Now I need to transfer a CVS1455 based prototype system (implemented by somebody else) into a small handheld device. We only need one camera (maximum frame rate: 15fps, resolution: 1280x960), and simple image processing, and result display.
Are there available hardware platform I can use to implement these functions? It is better I can use the C codes generated by the LabView.
Thank you for your help!!! Your suggestions are very appreciated.

You may be able to implement this style of application using LabVIEW touchpanel or mobile though the challenge will be how much processing you need to do on the image (since the IMAQ Vision functions are not likely to be supported on a handheld device) and getting the camera feed into the handheld device.
The best option to find out more may be to speak to the local National Instruments field engineer who should be able to look at the application and advise on alternative platforms that would enable you to reuse your code.
If you want to find out a bit more the Inside Sales Engineers in the Newbury office (01635 523545) should be able to put you in contact with the nearest field engineer to you.
Regards
Ian
