Well this is an extremely hard mathematical challenge :

dist = sqrt ( (x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2 + (z1-z2)^2 )

or if you can't be bothered to wire that correctly and you have the (signal processing toolbox?) you can use the unit vector vi to find the 2-norm of the vector connecting the two points.
