How to acquire images from a plug and play Webcam without using IMAQdx

Hello,

I want to add a small window with the images from a plug and play webcam.

So this window will be on my vi.

I installed NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx. But NI-IMAQdx needs a license wich costs around 500 euros.

I may see images from the webcam in NI-MAX

Still when i add IMAQdx vi it does not work. Also with NI-IMAQ.

Anybody knows another way of capturing images from a webcam without using IMAQdx

IMAQdx is the right sdk to use to acquire from a webcam.

Being able to see and acquire from a camera in MAX and not in LabVIEW usually means the IMAQdx license is not activated on the computer.

I suggest you check that in the license manager.
