How can I make a 2 X 2 simultaneous acquisition in asynchronous reset and DMA?

Hello All,

I’m using JAI A11 as camera. I need to make the acquisition in asynchronous reset and in DMA. In the first trigger i must have one frame of the first and second camera (simultanous) and in the socond trigger I must have a frame of the third and fourth camera (simultanous) and so on (as shown in the picture attached).

Is this possible with this board? Can somebody help me in the interface, cables and configurations?

Which board do you have to interface with your Camera, it's a National Instument Board ?

Hi Carno,

With this board, we have no possibility to make a IMAQ acquisition simultaneous, because you have a multiplexer in input. (to multiplexe 4>1)

For make that you want, you need to have 2 board (PCI-1409), With the trigger, acquire Camera 1 (board1) and Camera 2 (board 2).

After Change channel in boards and, with the same trigger, acquire Camera 3 (board1) and Camera 4 (board 2).

I understoud your answer, but can I group the cam 1/ 2 and 3/4 in RGB (I mean the cam 1 is the R of the first port, the cam 2 is the G of the first port, the the cams 3and 4 the same for the port 2).
