Hi guys
Let's consider the situation I am drawing a ROI interactively, e.g. in VBAI, IMAQ ConstructROI window or in an image control. I know I can use the Ctrl key to combine (add) multiple ROI contours, generally of different types. Now is it somehow possible to specify an internal contour, i.e. a hole? I know I can do it programmatically, but can I do it interactively?

ROIs don't really have an interior/exterior option. You would have to do it programatically.
The only feature I can think of that might help is an annulus, since that has a hole in the center that you would consider interior.

Just to confirm, there's no way to draw internal ROI contours interactively. If this is something you would find useful, you can submit a product suggestion request at the Product Suggestion Center.

Just as an FYI, this was reported as CAR #157205 and we are hoping to be able to fix it in the next version.

Do you mean like getting the index through a property node?
That's an interesting idea - I'd recommend submitting a suggestion for that.
