Count Objects Problems

Hi All-

I'm having problems now with 8.6 in find a bright object using the Count Objects VI.  It doesn't seem to ever lock onto the objects anymore.  I had it working perfectly in 8.5, but once I upgraded to 8.6 it hasn't worked since.  Even going backwards now, 8.5 seems to have the same problem.  The only ones that work now were ones that I've built into .exe's already.

Thougths or ideas???

It sounds like an algorithm was changed between 8.5 and 8.6.  After you install 8.6, using LV 8.5 still uses the Vision 8.6 routines.  The only way to truly get back to 8.5 is to uninstall Vision 8.6 and reinstall 8.5.  Even then, there may be some residual glitches.  Did you do the uninstall / reinstall???
