Color identification

Hi all,I'm new about Machine Vision.

I've a matrix (3x3) of circular case, that contain a liquid with a reagent that color it.

I can inspect it from the top, so I can see nine coloured circles.

I need to acquire the color for each case and assign for each position in the matrix

a code that dependes from the color in a given range.

Thanks to all that can address me in the right direction, with samples or tutorials.
