Can't set 30 bit or 36 bit RGB output with PCIE-1437 + 3 CMOS camera

Hello all.

Now I'm developing an imaging system with JAI's AP-3200-PMCL and NI's PICE-1437 frame grabber.

AP-3200 is a 3CMOS camera so it's not a Bayer camera.

The camera has 24 bit, 30 bit, 36 bit RGB output mode (8bit, 10bit, 12bit depth per pixel).

Now I'm using NI's camera file generator for configuring the camera in Labview 2018 in Windows10.

The problem is.

When I set 30bit or 36bit RGB in the camera file generator, the generator automatically changes it to 48 bit RGB mode.

Even though I modifies the bit depth in the .icd camera file by opening it in the notepad, NI-MAX doesn't recognize it as 36 bit RGB.

We verified the camera is acquiring 36 bit RGB images, while the card is still reading the images as 48bit RGB. Consequently, 9~12th blue bits are recognized as 13~16th red bit in the final output images like the picture I attached.

PCIE-1437 is said to have 36 bit RGB mode according to the manual.

It seems the software forces the bit depth be 48 bit (16 bit BG Ra in NI-MAX.)

On the other hand, it works very well with 24bit RGB...

Did someone have the same problem with me ?

Or how can I solve this problem?

Thank you.
