CVS problem

Dear Engineers,

I need help. I have a CVS 1450 combined with Basler scA1400-17fc camera.

Firstly I installed Vision Development Module (LabVIEW 8.2) to my computer and connected them with CVS and it worked fine. After that I installed Vision Builder for Automated Inspection also because I wanted to try image acquisition and inspection with different software. I didn’t uninstall Vision Development Modul from CVS before. I believe that I made a mistake because now I can’t access to CVS via MAX. I can’t setup Vision Builder for AI also. When I try to access CVS via MAX (MAX --> Remote Systems à CVS1450 à  Software Add/Remove Software) message appears: “An error occurred trying to start the LabView Runtime. Please tray reinstalling your product. Error code : 7409.  If problem persist, please contact NI for further assistance.”

What do you suggest for me to do? I know that I can make a format but I am a little bit scared because am not experienced enough. Is this right way to deal with my problem?

Thanks you for your answer.

Which VBAI version are you using?  You may have changed the IMAQ drivers or RT engine and such to a higher one that was not installed on the CVS.  I am not the best source, but just a thought.  I had asked about the proper order of installs at one time, I'll see if I can find that forum.  It seems to me, if you are using VBAI 3.0.1, you need to install that first then Vision Acquisition 8.2.2, but I am unsure what order if you are using Vision Development Module.  It seems to usually be an issue with proper Real-Time engines and IMAQ drivers.  Sorry, not much help.

I solved my problem.  I don’t know what was happened.

I formatted CVS and made a reinstall on the drivers and software (VBAI) and now is everything OK.

Anyway, thank you for your answer :~).
