CUSTOM STEP AND CVS

Hello,

I'd like to know where should i place my file in CVS if i want that the custom step that i created to be able to locate this path. my custom step use a constant path as entry and process the data from the path. Now i want to know in which folder in CVS should i place the file for my custom step to be able to locate it. if someone can help with this problem.

Hi,

The root folder of the CVS is C:\

If you save a file named "foo.txt" in let's say the Temp folder on the CVS, then you need to refer to it as "C:\Temp\foo.txt" to access it.

Hi Christophe,

i did as you told me to do in your last post. I just want to get precision regarding some function i used in my program. in the picture i attached below, is there a none RT function? i'm asking that because the custom step that i created works on the host computer and seem not working in the CVS.
