All,
I’m at the all important ‘make my VI look pretty’ stage and thus aligning command boxes, etc on the front page and on the diagram.
Is there a neat way I can ‘left-align’ input boxes ignoring the text? The attached image shows what I am trying to do.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hey The Happy Coder,
What is happening is the align left edge tool will align the further most left object. As your text is the very most left object (as it is part of the numeric indicator) it will align the text rather than aligning the box itself. This unfortunately is due to the nature of the tool. What you can do instead is use the align "horizontal centers" tool instead, this is located directly to the right of the left align tool. Hope this solves your problem!

You could also select all the objects to align, right and got o properties and then uncheck labels visible. OK this and then left align your objects. Then repeat the procedure to make the labels visible again.
