1394 not hyper-threading friendly

I run LV 7.1 and Vision 7 with 1394 version 1.5.
I have not gotten my programs to run with hyper-threading enabled while using the 1394 driver. The programs always run for maybe a few seconds to a minute , then I get a blue screen of death saying something like "STOP 0x000000b8
ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC (b8) A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC routine."
This doesn't happen with hyper-threading turned off.
Any ideas?

XP or 2000 ,same results
thanks
also ,can i get the new 1.5.1 1394 driver yet ?
is it still beta? what improvements are there?
Will I ever be able to run my Labview programs on XP 64 -bit ? I tried on an AMD FX-53 with XP 64bit but no way. Need 64 bit drivers

Hello NIbert.

I have tried unsuccessfully to reproduce the problems you are seeing with the 1394 driver crashing a hyperthread-enabled machine. I am using a 3.2GHz Pentium 4 with hyperthreading enabled and the driver version 1.5.1, and I am able to acquire images without any problems.

If you have the IMAQ for 1394 driver version 1.5, then you should be able to get the 1.5.1 version. Call our general number and speak with your techincal sales representative to verify the serial number, then we can get the driver to you.

As far as the 64-bit LabVIEW goes, at some point there will be a 64-bit version available, but I unfortunately have no time frame for you.

I hope this helps!

Thanks ,Colin,
I was running 1.5 version of 1394 driver. I contacted my sales engineer and he hooked me up with version 1.5.2 of the 1394 driver and it works fine now. Thanks for the answer though.
