Import Shared Library feature crashes LabVIEW

Hello!

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with LabVIEW 2023Q3.  I am trying to use the Import Shared Library wizard to create the vi wrappers for a shared library.  However, when I click on the folder to select the .so file or the .h file, it causes LabVIEW to close.  If I place a call library function node and link it to the libdwf.so file, it causes LabVIEW to close.

Am I doing something wrong, or is LabVIEW still glitchy with Linux?

Thanks!

Have you found a solution to this?  I'm seeing the same thing on a Centos system running LabVIEW 2017/64-bit.

When it crashes I see a notification that there was a problem in the gnome-shell package but after updating that the issue persists.  Oddly it was able to import shared libraries a week or two go without issue.

I believe this behavior is due to a bug in LabVIEW:

LabVIEW 2023 Q3 Bug Fixes - NI

I'm experiencing the same issue using LabVIEW on Windows 11. According to the web page, LabVIEW 2023 Q3 Patch 2 or later fixes this issue.

I just attempted to use the import shared library wizard in LabVIEW 2023 Q3 Patch 6 and it ran successfully.
