I suggest to include the minus sign of integer and real numbers in the syntax coloring. In the example shown below the integer is -1, not 1....

this looks like a reasonable feature request. Because of that, i recommend you to post feedback like this in the CVI idea exchange forum. I've seen that you already used it before, so you should be well with that 😉

of course I can do so, no problem.
In the past, I distinguished between 'unexpected' behaviour and missing feature, the former reported here and wishes over there. In this forum, I would hope for a CAR which in my idea might be faster...
I guess I simply was too polite
, I should have been more courageous and call this behaviour a bug, because -1 is a valid integer but syntax colouring does not work for it ![]()
The same is true for 1.0 and -1.0.
Interestingly, the minus in 1.0e-6 is displayed correctly ![]()
