obtain FSK/PSK modulation waveform on oscilloscope

Hi everyone,

                   I am trying to obtain a amplitude-time waveform for FSK and PSK modulation on my scope. Is it possible? I have succeeded in getting the waveform for AM, FM & ASK modulation only. I am using Agilent Technology E4438C 250kHz-6.0GHz ESG VECTOR Signal Generator and oscilloscope is Hewlett Packard 54600B 100MHz.

Howdy Serina,

I'd first suggest installing and familiarizing yourself with the CVI instrument drivers, found through IDNet, for your Agilent E4438C and 54600A if you haven't already. They're a great starting point.

As far as the capabilities of your two instruments, you'd want to consult their manufacturer for details on whether they can perform FSK/PSK modulation.

   Can you tell me how were you able to generate an ASK modulation. Can you help me with the code. I want to generata a ASK modulated signal on my DAQ.
