noDriverErr when executing CVI 5.5 app with NI-DAQ 6.9.3 on Win95

I am using CVI 5.5 and NI-DAQ 6.9.3. I have developed an application under CVI 5.5 with Windows 2000. When I run the installed application under Windows 95b, my call to GetNumChannels returns with a noDriverErr. This program runs fine under Windows 2000 and the Measurement & Automation Explorer in Win95 is able to successfully exercise the DAQ hardware (DAQCard-700) with the test panels. What is my problem?

Go to your Control Panel and to Add/Remove Programs. Select NI-DAQ 6.9.3 and select Change. This will launch the NI-DAQ installer. Select Add/Remove and go to the next screen. You should see a list of all the NI-DAQ Components. There should be a section called LabWindows/CVI support. Make sure that is selected to be installed. Left-Click on LabWindows/CVI support and notice the installation path at the bottom. Make sure this is the correct path for your current CVI version. Press Next and let the installer do it's work.

If CVI support is already properly installed and this doesn't fix the problem, you should contact our applications engineers via http://www.ni.com/ask and they can help you diagnose the problem.
