Hi all,

I programmed my application with CVI 6.0. Using NIReport I want to print a mulicolumn table in A4-format (portrait). If the sum of all columns is greater than 16 cm, the table is printed with a witdth of about 16 cm. Some of the columns are reduced in width. Which one seem to be undefined.


Printing normal text, header or footer lines shows that the behaviour of programmed margins (left, right, upper, lower) works for this elements, but not for multicolumn tables. They begin not at the left margin.


I tried with several printers (HP-Laser-Jet 6MP, HP-Colorlaserjet-4500C, HP-Deskjet 970C and DEC-Laser 3500) in PCL or Postscript-Mode. The result is always the same.


Any suggestions for creating multicolumn-tables with a width greater than 16 c
m?

I have not seen this behaviour before; what version of CVI do you have? I would like to replicate this here to see if I can find a work around or file it as a bug.

In the mean time I can suggest that you create a HTML document and use ActiveX to print it our through a web brwoser.
