how to use SavitzkyGolayFiltering

Waking up a long-dead thread...

I'm looking at Savitzky-Golay and its use in filtering before differentiation. So I wanted to know what I can do with the differentiation coefficiants returned by SavitzkyGolayCoef() but as Wolfgang stated, what can you do with them ? Can you feed them to a more generic filtering function (Correlate or something) ?

Those messages were 7 years ago, but there's still no example of use that I can find.

... as I mentioned in the other thread I would not add a filtering stage but instead use 5-point differentiation which also provides an estimate of the numerical error - why reinvent a wheel that mathematicians have solved before
