how to set icon for exe file

i'm using LabWINDOWS/CVI 5.5 how to set desk top icon for my executad file .

I cannot say for sure since I have no running install of such an old release.

I have checked a running CVI6 install and found the ability to set an icon for generated executable in Build >> Target settings menu entry of the project window:

I see no evidence in release notes that this facility has been added in release 6 so I suppose it is already present in the version you are using.

The best I can suggest is to double check all options windows looking for that.
